      <title>Blogs is now in beta!</title>

      <description>crossposted from my facebook blog
				Wow...
So, it took a very, very long time. An unreasonable amount of time.
But Blogs is finally open for testing by everyone, and I sincerely hope
that all the stuff that I assume works actually does.
It's far from finished. There's still tie-lines to implement, friend
tagging, some layout cleanup, and communal blogs; but considering
everything, it's come out fantastically well, and I'm very proud of it.
So get blogging, people, so we can sort out the bugs and make this app the best it can be.

 (Crossposted at canadablogsyou.)

So, there was SIDEPART '06 (best forgotten, I think we can agree) and BEARD '07, but now I'm at something of a loss for what to do about this vestigial monkey-coat on my head. I'm seriously considering shaving it all off. What do you think?

      <description>COULD IT BE?

I think there's been a lot of hype about the iPhone, but seriously, it is a fantastic phone. I wouldn't abandon a working phone for it, or sign up for some deal that screws me over, but luckily (a) my phone is dying, and (b) it looks like we're going to have unlocked iPhones anyway.

Forget basically everything you have ever heard about Adelaide. It's actually really nice here, spacious, temperate, clean. The people are friendly and generally helpful (except at the airport, where I am now, but I challenge you to find an airport with helpful staff), and the food is invariably... (more)</description>

      <description>&quot;Did you know,&quot; queries a CityRail poster, one morning at Roseville, waiting for a train that is probably not coming, &quot;did you know that a sick passenger at Berowra can affect trains to Blacktown?&quot;

&quot;Outrageous!&quot; the intended target (a commuter) is supposed to think. &quot;Those two places are very far apart!&quot;

A quick glance at the CityRail network map will reveal that the two stations are on a connected line, the yellow North Shore/Western line, in spite of their considerable distance. Still, the poster implies that, under the new Rail Clearways scheme, such an injustice will not occur.

      <description>Oh my god, a zillion points to whoever wrote this.

There was an old man
From Peru, whose lim'ricks all
Look'd like haiku. He

Said with a laugh &quot;I
Cut them in half, the pay is
Much better for two.&quot;

      <description>Even though Christmas, and even New years has passed I have yet to get a Wii. This is tragic.
Also tragic was the Opera &quot;La Boheme&quot; which I saw shortly before Matt's party, and it was an intensely interesting experience. For those of you who were born last century or more recently it is an opera about 4 bohemians living in Paris, two of whom fall in love and the other two provide light comic relief. The musical rent (and later lease) was based on it. The production was very good. The sets were really really good, having a lot of useable material and very little clutter and use the props the... <description>Compare: No, she's a girl and girl doesn't start with the letter W
Girl: Ahhhhh!
Cookie monster: But she is wet and wet does start with the letter W
Compare: Congradulation cookie monster, you've won a pile of cookies!!!

Was this deliberate?

Also, W's favourite W word is windy. He was afraid it would blow you away.
